Feb 16th-23rd
This Past Sunday…
We are continuing our journey through Paul’s letter to the Romans, a profound and foundational exploration of the gospel.
We start with “The Gospel: Right With God” (Romans 1–4), where Paul confronts our need for salvation and reveals how the gospel meets that need. Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, God provides the righteousness we could never achieve on our own. These chapters lay the groundwork for understanding justification by faith and the transformative grace of God.
Application Questions:
What truths about God have I suppressed or ignored in my own life?
What created things am I tempted to worship instead of the Creator?
Do I excuse or celebrate sins in my life that God calls me to repent of?
How does the power of the gospel free me from both sin and self-righteousness?
