Dec 1st-8th

This Past Sunday…

This Advent, we invite you to journey with us through God’s redemptive story, from the depths of humanity’s need to the glorious arrival of Jesus Christ. Together, we’ll see how the promises of old find their fulfillment in the Savior who brings hope, peace, and eternal joy. Celebrate the wonder of the gospel and the gift of Emmanuel—God with us.

Application Questions:

  1. Where am I looking for hope in my life right now, and how can I turn my focus back to the promises of Christ’s kingdom?

  2. How do the names of Jesus—Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace—speak to my current struggles and needs?

  3. What areas of my life need to come under the rule of Christ as my King?

  4. How can I carry the light of Christ into the darkness around me this Christmas?

•God sent ten plagues to punish the Egyptians.

•For the tenth plague, God told His people to put the blood of a lamb over their doors. That night, the Egyptian’s firstborn sons died, but God’s people were safe. Then Pharaoh let the Israelites go.
