This Past Sunday…

Join us for a two-week series on 2 and 3 John, where John challenges the church to stand firm in truth rooted in love. These short letters carry a powerful call that we, too, can embody as we grow together in Christ.

Application Questions:

  1. What areas of my life reflect self-love instead of love for God, and how can I surrender those to Him this Christmas?

  2. How does God’s grief over sin deepen my gratitude for His grace in sending Jesus?

  3. In what ways can I embrace the hope of redemption and trust in God’s restoration work in my heart?

  4. As I wait for Christ’s return, how can I faithfully fight the ongoing battle for my heart with His strength?

Announcements

Due to the holiday weekend we will be taking this Sunday off.

KIDS CHECK IN IS NOW IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL!

We hope this can clear up some of the congestion in the hallway. Feel free to continue to use the self check in upstairs and the Fellowship Hall.

“But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the first fruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Thes. 2:13-15

Kids Moment

This coming week in Mission Kids we will be looking at when God called Moses. Exodus 1-4.

Bible Story Summary:

•Pharaoh enslaved God’s people—the Israelites. Then he made an evil plan to kill all the baby boys. But God saved a baby named Moses.

•When Moses grew up, he left Egypt and became a shepherd. One day, Moses saw a burning bush.

•God spoke to Moses through the bush and said, “Go tell Pharaoh to let My people go.” Moses did what God said.

Review Questions:

•How did God save Moses when he was a baby?

•How are we slaves to sin? How does Jesus free us?
