Feb 2nd-9th

This Past Sunday…

This month we will begin our journey through Paul’s letter to the Romans, a profound and foundational exploration of the gospel.

We start with “The Gospel: Right With God” (Romans 1–4), where Paul confronts our need for salvation and reveals how the gospel meets that need. Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, God provides the righteousness we could never achieve on our own. These chapters lay the groundwork for understanding justification by faith and the transformative grace of God.

Application Questions:

  1. Do I thank God for my church and pray regularly for fellow believers?

  2. Am I investing in encouraging others, or do I just consume church?

  3. Do I have a heart for the lost, and am I eager to share the gospel?

  4. Am I submitting my plans to God, or just asking Him to bless mine?

Kids Moment

This coming week in Mission Kids we will be looking how the people doubted. Numbers 13-14

Bible Story Summary:

•God told Moses to send men into the land of Canaan. Moses told twelve men, “Go see if the land is a good place to live and how many people live there.”

•The men went into the land. They came back and said, “The land is amazing! But the people are strong, and their cities are huge.”

•Some of the men were afraid to go into the land. They did not trust God’s promise. But Joshua and Caleb said, “We can do it! God will help us!”

•God was upset that the people did not trust Him. He said, “None of you will go into the land, except Joshua and Caleb.”

Review Questions:

•What did the spies see in the Promised Land that made them afraid?

• Is there a situation you are afraid of that we can pray about today?
