Dec 15th-22nd

This Past Sunday…

This Advent, we invite you to journey with us through God’s redemptive story, from the depths of humanity’s need to the glorious arrival of Jesus Christ. Together, we’ll see how the promises of old find their fulfillment in the Savior who brings hope, peace, and eternal joy. Celebrate the wonder of the gospel and the gift of Emmanuel—God with us.

Application Questions:

  1. Do I acknowledge my need for God’s peace, or do I still try to manage the mess of my life on my own?

  2. How can I embrace the truth that God’s peace is a gift, not something I have to earn or assemble?

  3. Am I willing to honestly name the mess in my life, trusting that God meets me there with restoration and wholeness?

  4. How can I, like the shepherds, respond to the good news of Jesus with worship, sharing, and reflection?

Thank you to everyone who helped with this year’s Christmas Party! What a great night!

Kids Moment

This coming week in Mission Kids we will be looking at how God Provided for His People. Exodus 15–17

Bible Story Summary:

•God led His people through the wilderness by a pillar of cloud and fire. As the people traveled, they complained about being hungry and thirsty.

•God performed miracles and provided His people with water, manna, and quail.

•God commanded His people to rest on the seventh day of each week. This day was called the Sabbath.

Review Questions:

•What was special about the Sabbath?

•Why can we trust God to provide for our needs?
