The Weekly-Sept 22nd-29th

This Past Sunday…

In Revelation, Jesus addresses seven churches, commending their faithfulness and confronting their compromises. These letters, though written to first-century churches, speak directly to the challenges we face today—temptations to compromise, loss of truth, and lukewarm devotion.

Over the next seven weeks, we’ll explore the strengths and struggles of these churches and apply their lessons to our lives. Join us as we uncover how Jesus calls His church to resist pressure and remain faithful to the gospel.

Application Questions:

  1. In what areas of life have we allowed worldly influences to creep in, and how can we realign ourselves with God's truth?

  2. How can we ensure that we are not only holding fast to Jesus' name but also rejecting false teachings that may be culturally acceptable?

  3. What does it look like in your life to stay true to Christ, even when you feel surrounded by opposition or temptation?

  4. Are there any areas in your life where you need to heed Jesus’ warning to Pergamum about turning from sin?

Join us on October 18-19 as we explore our true freedom in Christ, looking at Galatians 5 to discover what freedom is and isn’t. Expect a time of fellowship, encouragement, and renewal as we grow together in understanding what it means to live unbound in Christ's grace. We’ll also enjoy an incredible food including a whole hog meal catered by Highlands Butchery!

Current Curriculum

Current Curriculum

Every week, kids will experience the good news of the gospel through a Bible study that is:

Christ Centered: It’s all about Jesus, and every story points back to Him.

Heart Transforming: This study is designed to encourage true transformation that comes only from the gospel, not from behavior modification.

Age Aligned: Each week, every participant—from preschoolers to adults—can study from the same section of Scripture.

Chronological: All age levels study the narrative of the Bible in order, from Genesis to Revelation.

Theologically Rich: All studies are presented in an age-aware manner, and every session is doctrinally sound and thorough.

Missionally Minded: Every session calls participants to respond by sharing and living out the gospel.

Join the interest meeting: October 6th, immediately after the service in the Fellowship Hall.

October 13th at 5:30PM we will have our Next Equip Night.

The topic will be The End Times!

The purpose of these evenings is to come together as a gospel family for dinner and discipleship. Practically, we’ll be sharing a family meal together, followed by a time of teaching, table discussion, and prayer. Childcare will be provided

We plan to focus on topics during Equip Nights that will help us grow in our knowledge and worship of Jesus, as we seek to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12)
