April 20th-27th

This past week —

In our short two week series, Death To Life, we are looking at the death and resurrection of Jesus. Our hope and prayer is that what Christ accomplished on our behalf would resonate in new and profound ways for us. Christ gave himself for us that our lives might be transformed.

This Past Sunday We celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus and how it brings change and healing to every aspect of our lives.

The Gospel Coalition

This week, three of our pastors and a couple other fellas attended the Gospel Coalition Conference in Indianapolis. It was an incredibly life giving trip all around and we are excited to share more about what God showed us during our time there.

Baptism Sunday & Child Dedications | May 18th

On Sunday, May 18th, we’ll celebrate two beautiful moments in the life of our church—Believer’s Baptism and Child Dedication.
Baptism is for those who have put their faith in Jesus and are ready to publicly declare that they belong to Him.

If you’re ready to take this step, email Melanie Jones at melanie@missionchurchnc.com, and we’ll follow up with you.

Child Dedication is a special moment in our Sunday service where parents commit to raising their children—of any age—in the ways of Jesus.
It includes a brief time of prayer, blessing, and dedication as a church family. If you'd like to participate, sign up at missionchurchnc.com/dedicate.
Let’s
celebrate the goodness of God in the lives of our church family!

Care Community training

On Sunday May 4th at 12 PM we will host a Care Community training event in the fellowship

What and who is a Care Community for?

A Care Community is an engineered team, much like an extended family, of committed and equipped volunteers who support and serve a foster, adoptive, and all the children in their care.

How can you serve in a Care Community?

This team provides regular and ongoing practical help such as providing meals, tutoring, childcare, transportation, laundry, yard work, etc. The Care Community is a family-centered model that seeks to support the family as a whole.

Why have Care Communities?

Families supported by a Care Community have often reported that the ongoing support of their volunteers has kept them fostering longer and stronger.
