Mission Church exists to see Morganton, Burke County, and beyond renewed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our aim is simple: to make disciples who live for Christ’s Kingdom.

We are a community shaped by grace, people from different stories and backgrounds united by faith in Jesus. Through gathered worship, shared meals, and everyday conversations, we seek to follow Christ together and display His love in the place He has planted us.

Our deepest hope, the echo we long to hear through neighborhoods, over the courthouse lawn, across the Catawba River, past Lake James, through the mountains and every holler known or forgotten, is the hope of Jesus Christ.

On Sundays, you can expect a warm welcome, gospel proclamation, confession and celebration through the Word and the Lord’s Supper, and a joyful sending into God’s mission. Mission Kids provides a Christ-centered environment where children learn the gospel and grow in faith. Mission Youth helps students build their lives on the truth and grace of Jesus.
